first dodgy interaction with fellow passengers ...

Well things have moved on a lot. I have to go to the Russian embassy tomorrow to pick up my visa and then onto the Chinese embassy. Am a little concerned about that, I need to get a multi-entry visa for China but not sure what I am going to do when I get past Hong Kong. Am kinda looking at Tibet, but if I am going to boycott Australia because of the treatment of the Aborigines then I'd be just a tad hyprocritical to go to Tibet!
My parents are much more on line about the whole thing, I think they just think that the idea of me slumming it in a forest in Mongolia hilarious, I find it mildly terrifying.
I spent a couple of days in Westport with my parents just to get them more on board. I traveled back up to Dublin by train. So there I was minding my own business reading my Harry Potter book and listening to my ipod when a hand came out of no-where and grabbed the book. This very drunk and stinky guy grumbled, I wanna read this. Once he had swore at me a couple of time and called me a selfish fuck he gave the book back. He then sat with three Polish guys, spent more of his time incoherently telling them how they should fuck off back to their own country and helping himself to their beers. I don't know how they stayed calm with the prodding and poking and spitting. But they did. In Athlone 5 cops got on the train and he rain like a Giselle off the train, only to tumble face first onto the platform, where to his great humiliation he was held down my a lady garda who looked about 12.

Lets hope that this is the only scary train story I will blog here ...
