Losing flag following virginity.

We went to the Warriors yesterday, they were very impressive, it's just hard to believe that they were there for 2200 years without being discovered. The emperor Qin who had them built seems like a bit of an egotist to put it mildly. He has the world's largest mausoleum, he had the wall built, he also became emperor when he was 13, had 3000 concubines and 600 children! He had all the builders of the grave and the soldiers buried with them so that he could keep the location a secret. Charmer. We had a crazy Chinese tour guide lady called Julie, who was super bossy, and intelligible. she had a little green flag, i have never followed a flag before. I've always smugly guffawed at tourists following flags. From now on I will treat them with a lot more respect. I went for a wander around the big pit and because I wasn't back at exactly the correct time I was reprimanded in from of the rest of the group.
Anyway as smart as Julie was she totally screwed up the tour. She brought us to the main pit first and then the one partically excavated and then the one that hasn't been excavated at all. In other words the bossy little tit brought us around the site the wrong way around. I meant that it didn't have the same wow factor that other tourists had. And she seemed way more excited about the 5* too let. Which was a proper sit down toilet. You could have bowled me over with a feather.
The tour also consisted of a visit to the factory where the Terracotta Warriors are made. Yes, where they are made. They had big ones, small ones and real life sized ones. It's hard then not to at least suspect, question or query the authenticity of the warriors on display in those pits.

We are off to the Pandas today, i have to be back to meet the other's in about 30 minutes. Then it's a long enough train ride, to Chengdu. I am going to try to ignore the high jinks on the train and get some sleep, I'm tired.

The reason I only have one photo of the warriors is because the battery in my camera ran out.
