I told the lady at the pharmacy I was kicked by an elephant, i don't think that she believed me. Hmmmmm.
Today i went on the KL Monorail, now i have always been a little dubious of monorails since Lyle Lanley came to town all those years ago and almost bankrupted us, in fact I think that's what he did here but he also convinced them to build two stupid big towers in the middle of town also. I checked and there were no families of opussums living in the control boot and the driver was neither Homer nor dressed like a stormtrooper from Star Wars. Meanwhile as what happened backhome in Springfield the rest of the infrastructure in this city is still falling assunder. It's fine to have all these big flashy buildings but you have to have smooth footpaths otherwise the tourists gawping into the sky end up falling, tripping and diving unintentionally into holes, gullies and trenches in the ground. Tis all a bit silly really, and we complained about the spire.
I decided that my illness was due not just to it being 35 degrees in the shade, but also because of iron deficiency, really just a reason to go get a steak. Plus Bali is a Hindu island so the chance of getting a ribeye is probably negligible and i will never forgive myself for turning down that irish breakfast in Siem Reap. So off i went on my own, Nini is insisting on wearing a hijab and i keep telling her that she's not muslim, but she says when in rome, but ha i just left her in the room, with the air con off! That'll teach her. I got my steak, and some frys and some mud pie (because i'm worth it). On the way back i was hounded to the monorail station by baton weilding police men apparently there is another riot scheduled for this afternoon. I'm so bored I played blackjack on the computer here, I lost $75 but then won $76 back and cut my losses. It's not as bad here as i am making it out, i just don't feel well and want my mammy.
And on the up side it's so unbelieveably wonderful not to know someone who has a baseball sized tumor in their head anymore.
